Educational Planning

For children struggling in school it is important to understand the nature of their strengths and weaknesses and explore what type of supportive services are appropriate.

This process generally involves interviewing the child, parents, and school personnel. A comprehensive assessment may be necessary to examine cognitive functioning and academic skill development.

Following the assessment process it is important to share the findings with parents and the school in order for them to develop an Individual Education Plan for the child with a learning disability and/or an attention deficit disorder.
