Isabel Shessel is a  Member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She has served on local and provincial committees and organizations. She is a past Chairperson of the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario. She has attended and presented at numerous conferences on disabilties and learning disabilities in particular.
